Jobs/Roles in the ECE Community: National/Federal Level

This week I explored national organizations and federal agencies and I found three that appealed to me the most. They are the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE), Orange County Head Start (OCHS), and Orangewood Children’s Home now known as Orangewood Children & Family Center. I chose these three because they each focus on helping children and families succeed. This is my ultimate goal as an early childhood professional and I am glad I have found them to add to my resources. Below I have posted a summary of each and their missions and vision they believe in. I also have posted some jobs opportunities they have available.

      Hello,
I would choose preschool teacher because I to love to teach and I do not know if I could ever change to another position. If I did I would still have to teach part-time.

  2. Hi Crystal,
I enjoyed reading all your organization but I am particular about your selecting on preschool teacher because I love my job but not the pay. However I don’t ever want to retire or quick this particular professional because I love to see the young minds opening up or blossoming like a wild flower. I sometimes amaze myself how much their little minds or brains can take in. I so much want them to have a head start in life without not missing a beat. Furthermore I have sight words but most of all I give them vocabulary words that consist of words such as indignation, kerfuffle, funeral, pathogens, flea market, absurd, etc. You need see them term into little ironstein! I get tickle as these little children these words therefore I can see why you selected this organization. Great selection!
